February 2022. ArtTECH.Thursday: Digital production. New horizons of architecture and design.
A course of lectures by Vladislav Bek-Bulatov as part of the ArtTECH.Tuesday project. At the lecture, Vladislav will talk about the use of digital production methods in architecture and design, about how digital production technologies will change things around us. Will show examples of projects from the practice of the architectural studio VForm.
Vladislav Bek-Bulatov – architect, teacher. Founder of the VForm Architecture studio. He graduated from the Master’s program Design Research Lab of the Architectural Association in London, thesis published on ArchDaily. He has worked at Fs-architecten in Germany, as well as in the Code department at Zaha Hadid Architects in London, and has been involved in the design of the Mathematics Gallery at the London Science Museum. Along with architectural practice and teaching, he is engaged in research activities, the main direction of which is the search for new methods of shaping their relationship with digital production.
ArtTECH.Tuesday is a project of open lectures by invited teachers of the ArtTECH NUST MISIS master’s program. Lectures are available offline and online and are held every two weeks on Thursdays at the Birthplace of Innovations site with the support of the Marketing and Communications Department of NUST MISIS and the V. Potanin Charitable Foundation.
