The cantilever staircase made of ultra-high-strength concrete is designed to create a weightless effect in the interior of the project – “Soaring House”.
In the process of working on the project, all modern digital production technologies in this area were reviewed and analyzed. But, despite the fact that there are companies on the domestic market that provide services for the production of concrete stairs using 3D concrete printing, the choice was made in favor of a technology that combines elements of digital production and traditional technology for the production of concrete products.
The steps and landings, 47 in number, were designed by Rhino and made from ultra-high-strength reinforced concrete using classical mold casting technology. The compressive strength of concrete was more than 100 MPa. The thickness of the step is 80 mm at the console mount and 50 mm at the end. CNC milling was used in the manufacturing process of the formwork.
