The Zhukovka 123 shopping and business center is located outside the city in one of the most picturesque areas of the Moscow region.
Its total area is 8,115 square meters, of which 4,530 square meters are available for lease. Three above-ground and two underground floors create a comfortable space that combines business activity with the relaxed rhythm of country life.
The center’s architecture is seamlessly woven into the natural landscape, seemingly emerging from the relief. This is further emphasized by the materials used in construction, which convey the character of the surrounding environment: natural stone, glass, and Corten® steel.
The slanted Corten slats resemble pine trunks and, over time, develop a warm terracotta patina, thereby enhancing the connection with the surrounding forest. The first floor façade is finished with fine slate, adding texture and depth to the entire composition. The extensive glazing of the upper floors merges with the reflected sky, completely merging the entire building with the atmosphere of the site.
The center’s interior space continues the theme of unity with nature—it is permeated with Corten steel columns that echo the trunks of the pine trees outside, complemented by panoramic windows for tranquil views, and crowned with a glass dome that floods the building with natural daylight. Taken together, all this creates a holistic perception of the interior and exterior, a characteristic of all VFORM studio projects.
This same character is supported by other design elements—the navigation system, furniture, and small forms—emphasizing the strong interconnectedness of all the details, each important and perfectly positioned. The landscape design completes the architectural composition, harmoniously connecting the building with the forested surroundings and emphasizing the unity of architecture and nature.
